This problem does occur with a proper and up-to-date install of
Intrepid, with the theme "DarkRoom" which is the default dark theme.
It happens with Filezilla, as shown in the screenshot, but also with
ccsm. White text on white background, totally unreadable.

Thanks for your report. It appears that you have changed the colours so
that white text is being displayed on a white background. Please select
the NewHuman theme and leave the colours as-is, and see if the problem
still exists. Does this problem still occur with an up-to-date version
of Intrepid?
