Laurent Bigonville, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily
I was able to reproduce the problem also on a live-system running Ubuntu
12.10, so it seems that this issue is still not fixed. Anybody with a
X60/T61 (maybe others) who can also confirm this?

I can confirm that exactly the same problem is still present also on a
Thinkpad X60 in Ubuntu 12.04 running with Kernel . Here are some details

The same is true for me on my X60 laptop. Actually, this worked under
8.04 but has stopped working in 8.04.1.
