OK chap's, I got it finally !!!
if, like me, you have a bunch of "picasa" occurrences in the source code
=> choose the line which begins with "_album.picasa"
If, like me, your source code does not show any "picasa://", but instead some
"picasa:\x2F\x2F"
=> copy "picasa:\x2F\x2F..." till the end
None of the described solutions worked for Ubuntu 9.04 and Firefox
3.0.11
You can also upgrade to Picasa 3 (beta, but it works quite well) and download
the album with picasa

I've successfully find how to download album using "Download Album" link
It's pretty simple. Just go in Firefox to Edit -> Preferences ->
Applications tab -> type in bar "picasa" then under "activity" change
from default picasa to "use another application" and go to path
/opt/picasa/bin/picasa (si

Its very simple and works like in windows
Just open youre terminal and type
$picasa [link]
The link you can find when you open youre album in firefox and go to
right click and go to view source then simply hit ctrl + f to search for
picasa:// then copy it (ctrl + c) and paste as [link] as
