I randomly see the same problem with Ubuntu 8.04 and FF3 (both RC and
final release). Closing Firefox and relaunching will resolve the issue
normally. See attached screenshot.

After some seemingly unrelated Ubuntu updates this morning the problem
has disappeared. No reboot and browser is still open since logging this
issue.
If unreproducible please close.
