I am using kubuntu 9.10

I installed alexandria by `sudo apt-get install alexandria`
then i ran it hitting command `alexandria` in terminal, and i get
following message.

I guess Alperen is trying to use alexandria in Turkish locale
(i.e. in LANG=tr_TR.UTF-8).
If so, this is due to bugs in both ruby-gnome2 and alexandria.
For ruby-gnome2 side, this was fixed in rev 2857 [1][2]

ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if
this is still an issue for you. Did you try with the latest Ubuntu release? I
tried on 8.10, I can't reproduce the issue, it works find.

This remains quite an elusive bug. I hope to have some spare time in the
last half of October to do a fresh Ubuntu install and see if I can
reproduce it.

I'm trying to use the 32bit version. I don't get any such terminal
output. It just hangs indefinitely. I can't even ctrl+C out of it. I
have to kill -9 it from another terminal. No, no leftover Alexandria
packages since I've never used it before.

I'm using 32bit version. Yes, I have used Alexandria before. I tried to
open after removing .alexandria folder from my home directory, no
change. Still crashes on start up.
