Has any progress been made with this bug? According to upstream, it
doesn't look like it. This is especially annoying for me, as I have
Evolution open at startup w/ Alltray, and I use Mail Notification with
it. I usually get the same notifications at startup several times, and
when I open Evolution

Here I attach a screenshot of evolution showing 2 emails form yesterday
marked as unread, those mails, I can assure you I read them yesterday.

It happens when I close the program with the "x" button and also when I
shutdown my computer without exiting evolution first. I get the same
behavior on both of my accounts, and both are with Gmail.
The emails are marked as unread, I have to click again on them and wait
for 2 or 3 secs before its
