I also had the bug: when a download is completed, Firefox would crash. I
desactivated the Prism extension and now it works fine.
I have marked this bug as a duplicate of this one :

It is consistent on my PC. Any download will crash Firefox.

Bugs, which
I actually got rid of that issue by removing every extension I had
installed but deactivated. So it must be an extension problem although I
can't remember the ones I removed :-s.
It's still a bug for as all extension are checked on startup, maybe one
passed through.

I am experiencing the same problem since the last Firefox upgrade on
Hardy... That's very weird that the browser of a LTS version could stop
working properly with an upgrade.
