but my scroll wheel isnt working on my 20.04, and I dont remember it worked on
earlier versions

I use this device and it has no problem at all, as acknowledged by the
reporter. Please someone (Lionel?) mark this bug as invalid since it is
scaring people away from this device for no good reason.

I am writing about the positive experience in using a logitech trackman
T-BC21 with Ubuntu Karmic.
I have a usb to ps/2 converter thing that cost me £1
Into this converter I plugged the usb connection of the trackman
No software install required - it simply works.
What it does for me:

ok, it seems that this trackball was broken, it's not a bug in the
kernel.
Funny stuff : it broke the day my coworker migrated to Ubuntu, leading
us to think that it was an Ubuntu bug.

It might be interesting to note that the lsusb number is the same as a
number of touchpads on various laptops.
Is the kernel thinking that this is a touchpad and thus not thinking a
touchpad could have a wheel?
