Confirmed, seems to be an issue related only to Broadcom drivers. However, the bug in my case is slightly different - I actually use the b43 driver, but the Connection Information window doesn't show what the driver is at all(see attached screenshot). Ubuntu 8.04, nm-applet 0.6.6, Linux laptop 2.
