Tested bluetooth today, exchanging files with my mobile phone and it
works.

Guys you could read the replies. It is said that in edgy eft it is
fixed. I've tried it on my "problematic" single g5 and it works, with
sound and everything (except bluetooth i guess)
Just wait for edgy to be released :)

Yes, I came across this too - it's listed as a bug the Ubuntu graphical
installer bug wiki. You can either use mac-fdisk to create a boot partition
