This happens for me in Evince too. Step to reproduce is from Maximised state,
try restoring the window. The Evnice window starts dancing for sometime. Does
happen 6/10 times.

This problem happened to me not only in firefox, but also in many
applications when I move them from a workspace to another. I think that
this bug has a relation to compiz fusion, because it is a bug in its
configuration.
