I confirm this with the latest KDE 4.0.5 and kmilo-kde4
4:4.0.3-0ubuntu4.
On my kde 3.5.X it works like a charm.

Kmilo-kde4 installed version is 4:4.0.4. I was installed it from
official repositories. Ubuntu version is Hardy Heron 64bit. Button
internet, e-mail etc. all so not working.

And which version of the package do you use? From the official repositories or
