There was no intention to insult here. It was simply a request for more
information to assist in getting this fixed. I have been able to
determine that :
Using an eMachines motherboard with a 1.2GHz Celeron processor,
1. using Xubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04.1, Synaptic Package Manager lists two
