I don't seem to be able to reproduce this with nautilus anymore, but the
expo applet still shows the same behaviour. (This is under 8.10 "intrepid".)

I can't repro the nautilus issue on intrepid nor on "jaunty as of feb
11th" (I don't have hardy available unfortunately). Philipp, can you
boot the jaunty live CD from here to see if you can still repro this bug
on the latest ubuntu? The daily build live CD is available here:

This seems to not be an xorg bug (at least, none of us can reproduce the
issue). Perhaps it is a kernel issue?
