I've tried recreating using firefox-3.0 on Hardy without success. I am
specifically using package version 3.0~rc1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1.
Which version do you have installed? You can check via 'apt-cache
policy firefox-3.0'.

and play the video.
try to open a file in firefox using fileopen
in my firefox the video playback stops.
