I then tried live vga=788 noapic nolapic at the boot prompt
the next screen gave me some vga options and I used 6 - 80x60 vga and
immediately before loading the desktop the screen filled with "has" but still
gave me just a solid black screen - I honestly thin

when booting i went to the Help (F1) , and for special harware i was told to
