I experience this bug as well. Soundconverter 1.01, Ubuntu 8.04-64bit
CLI gives a simple seg fault. Happens on the same file every time.
What do I need to do to provide more information?

Not much usefull info to capture from a cli. Only thing I see is
"Segmentation fault"
