Hello Gerfried, I'm using an ubuntu Hardy server on a Core2Duo T7400 which is an i686 architecture. The rungetty package 1.2-12 failed for my application (starting some custom applications). After reading the ubuntu bug report, I've downloaded the 1.2-10 package and everything is o.k. again. R
