I was searching a lot on Open Office web forums, and can't find a
solution. After put this bug, I've found a solution installing sun
report builder from Synaptic.

Marking as Fix Released due to the following:
1) see previous reason due to space issues
2) There is already a bug filed under shared-mime-info since it needs to
be able to detect .oxt files before OOo can actually associate with them
3) As noted in a previous comment this is no longer an issue

I guess upstream extension does not work, because the ubuntu-package of
the extension includes additional libraries which are needed for the
extension to work. Other extensions from extensions.openoffice.org are
working as expected. I'm not sure if it will be possible to block a
particular extensio
It's now OK with SRB from Synaptic.
But the problem still exists for people who just install this extension
from OOo site. Nothing alerts them that this particular extension will
not work ... As Ubuntu "refuses" to work with standard extension, Ubuntu
should prevent people from loading them !

Sun report-builder is packaged for hardy, the version from
extensions.openoffice.org will not work. I think this is a won't fix
bug.
