There is nothing 'restricted' about openoffice.org-java-common there
just is no room on the cd for it. You can install the 'openoffice.org'
meta-package and will it install everything you need over the internet.

Make this package a part of the ubuntu-restricted-extras, as it one of
its functions is to enable java support throughout the system. If it
enables java for the web browser, why not the office suite?

I can't fix this because there is not enough room on the Ubuntu install
cd to include everything that openoffice.org-java-common needs to pull
in.
