I notice that if I have "Show position of pointer when the Control key is
pressed" selected (in System->Preferences->Mouse), then the Ctrl+Alt+L key
combination is ignored.
If unselected, the key combination works as expected.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm this. I already used the final version
of the Hardy CD (from the day of release). The problems are still
present.

I have the same issues. Although I assigned different shortcut
combinations
Ctrl + Alt + O for Firefox
Ctrl + Shift + O for T-Bird
they won't work. Neither does Ctrl + Alt + L lock the screen. The
combination Ctrl + Alt + T to open a terminal does work though, as well
as Alt + F1 to access the Ub

- Launch of the mail client (I assigned to Ctrl-Alt-M)
