the issue described there is similar to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524967 and should be fixed in
hardy, closing the bug, feel free to reopen if you still get the bug

Same problem for me on Hardy when I try to add this podcast

I use a proxy server to access Internet and I verified this url is accessible
via proxy.
I tried with a different laptop (on my house) using a direct Internet
connection and using no
