The patch found on bug link work fine on Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 64 bits ! I have download sources (via apt-source), apply the patch, build package and install it. Now it can connect properly to my SASL Secure Postfix server. -- cram-md5 auth doesn't work on amd64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2173
