However, I read the document you gave and it seems to me that the bug
could easily be classified under "When" dot #4 ("Bugs which do not fit
under above categories, but (1) have an obviously safe patch and (2)
affect an application rather than critical infras
there's no fix for hardy, the bug doesnt' fit the requirements of an

I also have this very problem on Hardy with Moovida (ex Elisa) media
center which uses gstreamer as well.
It would really be important for me to get a fix for this on Hardy. Any
help on this?

This is fixed in intrepid by the way, but I stillt have the problem on
my notebook with hardy.
There are also other issues like async playback and occasional crashes.
Maybe the gestreamer plugins should be updated in hardy.
