Instead of starting nautilus with sudo, I restarted my PC first and see
if I would still get the error message. My guess was correct, because
after restarting nautilus-share didn't give an error message anymore
when I tried to create a share following the same procedure as before.

nautilus-share.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS with the very latest updates and I also
experienced this bug, which is the first time for me because usually
nautilus-share just works. Maybe it will help if I give the complete
(English) error message I have seen:
'net usershare' returned error 255: net usershare: cann
Confirmed first and third bug. Did not try the second one as my conputer
was connected to internet when it tried and succeed on installing samba.
