I have removed the contents of "/var/crash" and the apport ignore list
in home; then I have made yelp crash with the bug # 215245.
As a result, there a no crash reports in "/var/crash", and "apport.log"
only has the following lines:

Ah.. I see now, what you mean.. somehow I've missed your "sometimes" and
looked not carefully enough at the logs.
E.g. from apport.log.1:

So there should actually be crash files in /var/crash, correct?
But (only) no notifications about them get displayed?
Are you using ubuntu-desktop, kubuntu-desktop or something different
(e.g. xubuntu)?
