Buttons, icons, check boxes, radio buttons, scrollbars, sliders ... all have
prelight. Entries are an exception (shouldn't be), but there you see a cha
KDE does this. Windows does this.
Not sure about Mac OS X.
So when I used Ubuntu, I thought it was strange that there were no
visual feedback.

I'm not convinced of it's utility. I, for one, am bothered by too much
UI interaction as I move my mouse around.
Perhaps an option tab with several such options for those who would
prefer them. Such as auto expand on mouse over, and an opacity change
on mouse over (handy when you change your bac
