I'm sorry... It seems that the problem is in Network Tools. I.e. eth0
is really up and ok, but network tools shows "Interface doesn't exist".
I'm new here (as well as in ubuntu)...

Right after installation (all was ok there, except video card wasn't detected
correctly) I've configured all nesessary network
- settings.
After full update: I have network connection, but I can't make it to function
with static IP.
In Network Tools I have: "Network device: Loopback interface (lo)". When I try
change it to Ethernet interface (eth0) and configure it, i get
"Interface doesn't exist" message. When I try sudo ifup eth0
