by default cdrecord is not suid on edgy
in dapper the fix should be in the dapper-backports version

In Edgy it gets installed SUID.. I've just checked it by removing the
/usr/bin/cdrecord file and reinstalling the cdrecord package.

Well, I still have the bug in Dapper, so it might not be gone yet. I
worked around it by letting cdrecord be SUID.
