Technically this sounds rather impossible, as konqueror and dolphin
share the _very same_ component for file browsing, so if it works in
dolphin, it should work just as well in konqueror.

Hi, thanks for the bug report. Some more info is needed, however.
-What version of KDE4 are you running? The apt-cache output you gave is for the
wrong package. "apt-cache policy kdebase-bin-kde4" should give you info on the
correct package, or at least tell us what version of KDE you are running
