I also get the same behavior if I leave my laptop idle. I come back to
it and it's frozen and I need to hard reset.
I've attached my syslog. It seems to repeat the lines in my syslog over
and over (approximately 100 times per second) until it freezes. dmesg
does not give any relevant information.
This happens on my IBM T60 laptop whenever I blank the screen (e.g.
close the latop lid) and, sometimes, when I suspend to RAM. I'm running
Ubuntu v8.04 with the fglrx v8.4 binary driver. I can provide any other
details needed.
