I have not yet followed the instructions wrt xdomap. I'm trying to connect from 9.04 to 9.04 via XDMCP. Both computers have de_AT.utf8 default locale. Changing the key board layout has makes no difference. When I type 'z' in the Xnest window, it receives 'y'. I have no experience with the X/tsclie

I finally found a solution by reading the man for xmodmap. See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=738490 Here is the info: I'm using Hardy beta. Do NOT use gnome's keyboard control (Ubuntu System > Preferences > Keyboard > Layout Options). Instead follow the example in man xmodmap as expl
