Nevermind...
still as a minor nitpick: for a rebuild it should only be
1.3.1-1.1build1 instead of 1.3.1-1.1ubuntu1. That way we can just sync
the next upload to Debian.

When removing ispell.mim from /usr/share/m17n scim will work again. I
suggest targeting the bug also vs scim-m17n and updating this packages
by removing ispell.mim.

It's not clear what im-switch setting the bug reporter was using when
this bug exists (It seems to me the correct command should be "im-switch
-s scim-immodule", not "... scim-bridge"), but I suspect this is the
same bug as http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=431294.

The problem seems to be in scim-bridge, setting scim to use scim-immodule with
$ im_module -s scim-immodule
does work.
