Next steps: I think the private test suite question is still
hypothetical at the moment, since there are so many other open issues
that currently sound like they invalidate this SRU. Please revise the
analysis in this bug to cover all other issues, so that the only review
point remaining is that a

dkms is "hard" to test and can only be done in an LTS, even though it
needs to be backported to the interim releases too in order for the
kernels from that release (which are backported to LTS as HWE) to be
able to use the new
