The dmesg shows legacy S3 is set.
Could you try change the value to Windows which means s2idle in BIOS
setting menu as following:
Config -> Power -> Sleep State

It's possible the kernel is waking up but not having enough time to log
about it. Try this when it happens:
1. Hold down Alt and SysRq(PrtScn) and type: REISUB
2. After the machine reboots, run: journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt
3. Attach the resulting text file here.

I just tried that. After lifting the lid, the fan awakes briefly and
status lights go on. I pressed a few buttons, including the power
button. The keyboard illumination and its controls work. Nevertheless,
the screen stays blank.

It appears the kernel isn't waking up at all. Next time it happens, try
pressing keys on the keyboard or briefly tapping the power button. Often
those are more reliable at waking a machine than the lid switch.
