I'm facing the same issue. ThinkPad T14 with AMD CPU (and hence
integrated AMD graphics). Has always been a source of frustration, but
for some time now the graphics (not the whole system!) randomly crash;
failure to wake up from sleep; or, as described in this issue, the
external screen wakes up,

I downgraded to `6.8.0-49-generic` and so far after a night I didn't
unlock to broken main screen.

Main screen becomes sluggish after wak
After main screen goes into "sluggish/IRQ spam" mode, I can close the
lid and work normally... until system goes to sleep. Unlock screen
doesn't go back on the HDMI screen. Opening lid does nothing.
Fiddling with Ctrl+Alt+Fx let me move to the console with a HUGE lag,
where I can log in and `sudo

Added kernel (not sure if right package) as I believe the problem is the
