In 24.10 I installed libadwaita-1-0 and libadwaita-1-examples from the
proposed pocket (version 1.6.2-1ubuntu0.24.10.1).
I started the window manager with startx /bin/mwm and then the test
application, adwaita-1-demo.

Accepted libadwaita-1 into oracular-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libadwaita-1/1.6.2-1ubuntu0.24.10.1
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
