If I run nvidia-smi on my Kubuntu 24.10 with 550 or 560(more not tested), I get a message, see the attached file. When I run nvidia-smi for the first time, the message appears about 6 times. On the second run, maybe only 3 times. __vm_enough_memory: pid: 15820, comm: nvidia-smi, bytes: 5153974272

I am seeing the same issue on two Ubuntu installations with two different Nvidia GPUs. `sudo chmod o-w /var/run/nvidia-persistenced/socket` does the trick but as already said `systemctl disable nvidia-persistenced` does not work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of

Interesting, my persistenced config seems to set no persistence mode (I think this is the default), I tried changing it to enable persistence mode, but still have the issue. Didn't have the idea to disable it completely. Disabling it fails with an error messsage, but stopping the daemon does avoid
