I wanted to check in and see if there was any news on the backporting
efforts for this bug considering it looks like the upstream fix is
confirmed working. I don't have a SapphireRapids machine available but
let me know if I can assist with any other tests.

Since I have a sapphire rapids available, I tested the fix:
