Apologies, I reported this from the 24.04 package page and didn't realise this
was not marked in the report.
This happens in 24.04, with gdm3 version 46. I confirm this looks fixed
in the 24.10 patch (gdm 46.2).

It sounds like you're describing the 24.04 version of `Revert-data-
Disable-GDM-on-hybrid-graphics-laptops-with-v.patch`, which was fixed in
