Quick update: I did try the new kernel released in noble-proposed
(6.8.0-40.40) and the problem looks to be fixed!

On my side, the mainline kernels don't produce this issue, only the
"ubuntu" ones.
Tested with:
- mainline 6.8.3-060803-generic : working
- mainline 6.8.5-060805-generic : working
- mainline 6.8.12-060812-g
