If an authd broker requires updating the password on login, GNOME shell
doesn't handle the request properly, even though it exposes such feature
as supported to brokers.

- Install authd (https://github.com/ubuntu/authd) with the

Accepted gnome-shell into noble-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
