I have just upgraded to 8.04 and each time I try to change the resolution and
monitor settings they either arn't saved or are saved but ignored.
I have a Nvidia7300 card with a LG M198WA going into the DVI connection trying
to run at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I encountered a somewhat similar problem; I found that if I changed my
display model, performed a test, then OKed out of displayconfig-gtk my
changes were lost; but if I changed my display model and OKed out of
displayconfig-gtk without a test, my changes were saved.
You could see if you encounter
