I just installed mrcal 2.4.1-1ubuntu0.24.04.1 from proposed, loaded the
python library, and confirmed that basic things work (like
`mrcal.R_from_r`). This excercises the python and the C layer. It works.
Thanks for uploading

Hello dima, or anyone else affected,
Accepted mrcal into noble-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mrcal/2.4.1-1ubuntu0.24.04.1 in a
few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See

I uploaded a no-change rebuild of mrcal as 2.4.1-1ubuntu0.24.04.1 to re-
introduce the package to Noble as an SRU.

Hello. I just downloaded the mrbuild package from -proposed (version
1.8-1ubuntu0.24.04.1). I installed it into an ubuntu/noble system and
confirmed that I can successfully build mrcal off it. This confirms that
this mrbuild package works properly.

Hi. Thank you very much for doing this! The process looked challenging,
and I had given up.
That debdiff to mrbuild 1.8 (to effectively make it into mrbuild 1.9)
looks good to me. And if it makes mrcal build, then that's the required
proof that it works properly. With this updated mrbuild uploaded

Please see the attached debdiff against mrbuild 1.8-1.
I've verified that mrcal 2.4.1-1 builds successfully against this version in
Noble.
Let me know if you are happy with it, and I will upload.
If you'd like to make changes, please attach another debdiff and it can be
reviewed for spo
I've marked mrcal and mrbuild as 'Fix Released' for Oracular and opened

Hi Dima
There is nothing attached to this bug ready for sponsoring. Fixes need
to be in the development release before they can be backported to stable
