Reopened. Still happening on Oracular using a Zenbook S 13. Putting the screen to sleep didn't fix it, but putting the whole machine to sleep did fix it. This reminds me of a (cursor timers) fix that went into Mutter in the last couple of months which I will need to find... ** Tags added: oracul
