Here's my workaround, it was disabling IOMMU
On Debian 12, 13 and Ubuntu 24.04 (and likely all other Debian/Ubuntu-
based systems), my laptop freezes temporarily when the power cord is
plugged in. This appears to be caused by IOMMU (VT-d) misbehaving during
power state transitions. So the solution

After further testing, I wanted to share additional information that

Does this also happen with the latest kernel 6.8.0-35? Is there anything
in the log from the freeze? After a freeze, reboot and pull the log from
the previous boot (journalctl -b -1).

supply, but on the battery, especially when the power supply is connected, it

Could you please try again with the latest 24.04 image? It has a more
recent kernel version (6.8.0-31.31) and before we start investigating we
