I tried to install Xubuntu 24.04.1 tonight and got this bug repeatedly
at various steps in the installation wizard. It is quite unnerving. I
think I will stay on 22 for now.

How is the progress with this bug? I've seen many people on
youtube/reddit mention the installer crashing, so it seems like it's not
a rare occurrence.
