I can no longer reproduce the bug, even in the presentation where I was
having problems originally - possibly due to updates to recent
xserver-xorg-video-intel. If it turns up again, I'll be sure to attach
the offending presentation.

Can you attach an example presentation that doesn't work for you? Even
with a text slide before a video slide it works for me, so perhaps it
has something to do with the way the document is created in which case
an example document would be useful.

I've isolated and confirmed the behavior based on a related bug report
on the openoffice site (which sounds *exactly* like mine, though it was
closed in Jan2007). If I begin the Impress presentation slideshow on a
video slide, every video in the presentation works. If I start on a text
slide, well,
I'm not sure what causes this, I have an Intel 945GM graphics chip and
it works fine here. I'll see if I can get someone else to reproduce this
on and see if it is limited to 965GM or if it is a more widespread
issue.
