I've uploaded a new virtualbox-ose and virtualbox-ose-modules package yesterday.
Now you have to manually install the modules, e.g. as
"virtualbox-ose-modules-generic" for the generic kernel.
Please report back, if it works for you with the latest packages

i have the same bug and it appear on upgrade to 8.04 today,hope this
