You may try this:
In file
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/99video
at the beginning of the file add this:
/etc/init.d/hal restart

After some test, seems like pm-utils do not take use of hal-quirk for my
mainboard. It should pass acpi_video_flags=3 but it will set 0.

I placed this work around like script:
/etc/acpi/suspend.d/08-turn-off-cpu.sh
/etc/acpi/resume.d/92-turn-on-cpu.sh
But it didn't really helped. Ubuntu still crashed but i get some log:

** Description changed:
Resume do not work on SMP with more then 1GB if acpi-support scripts
used. It have different crashes: some time PC will just freeze with
black screen, some times kernel will ooops and some times wake up. It
depend on how long PC was sleeping: 1 min - probably it wil
this is dmesg with workaround:
before suspend disable one cpu and after resume enable it agene. "echo 0 >
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online" + sync && /usr/sbin/pmi action suspend
